International Scholarship
A competition held for pupils of all the schools and to include the international associated schools for a prize of a fully sponsored years racing in the British Formula Ford Esso Championship.

The competition for this sponsored prize was very popular with Jim Russell School pupils all over the world

The School was taken over by Silverstone Circuit and was renamed SRC
A Racing Team was reformed and called BRP
Good Times were had by all at the Jim Russell Racing Drivers School and I have found memories, apart from the names already mentioned here is a list of some of the drivers that used the FULL RACE hire of the Jim Russell cars
